1.2.5 Proposed format of the workshop. The workshop starts with an Introduction to the foundational concepts of GEN AI (i), followed by an in-depth look at Effective Prompt Creation (ii), including strategies and main features of impactful prompts. The session then proceeds to an exploration of ChatGPT and Bard (iii), guiding participants through the registration process and demonstrating basic to advanced prompt utilization. A classification of Effective Prompts specifically tailored for teaching are examined (iv), showcasing twenty-five innovative ways to integrate ChatGPT into educational practices (v). The agenda will further delve into the application of GEN AI tools for educational enhancement (vi), as well as for academic research (vii). The half-day workshop concludes with a critical discussion on the Challenges of Implementing GEN AI in Teaching Processes (viii), ensuring a well-rounded understanding of the subject matter.

1.2.6 Expected number of participants and requirements for participants This workshop is designed for educators and researchers interested in exploring the benefits of GEN AI in optimizing teaching and learning processes. The expected number of participants is 30 to ensure an interactive and engaging session. Participants must bring a laptop or personal device and have an account created on a GEN AI tool, such as ChatGPT.

Tailored specifically for educators, discover innovative ways to seamlessly integrate GEN AI into your teaching practices.

During the workshop, we’ll explore a range of GEN AI tools, expanding beyond ChatGPT and Gemini.
